What happens when we look at things from a different perspective?

We start a movement.

Live with purpose.

When we found out our son would need open heart surgery at birth, I immediately started researching and realized it’s usually villain characters who have scars. I knew our children deserved better. Thus Badges was born.

Children around the world started calling their scars 'badges' and an empowering movement started! The Children's Heart Foundation recently created a Badges mascot who gives out Badges books at children's hospital. It's also available on Amazon.

My self-help memoir, Swan Mode, is currently in the works! Sharing the profound life lessons I learned through extraordinary experiences has transformed the lives of so many. I'm finally answering their calls and writing the book.

The world needs our purpose!

Swan Mode truly touched my heart and I can't wait for the world to hear Elizabeth's powerful message.

This story was gifted to our daughter after open heart surgery and immediately brought a smile to our faces as we read to her. What a beautiful book and the idea that her scars are her badges is definitely an innovative and proud way of looking at something that could otherwise be scary for a little one. We love it!

What a special and uplifting book - it successfully and sweetly addresses a difficult topic in a way that a child can easily understand. I highly recommend this for anyone who has a child in their life with a scar, birthmark, or unique physical trait.
